Morocco (10/2024)

Morocco is a vibrant tapestry of ancient medinas, bustling souks, stunning landscapes, and rich cultural heritage, with the rugged beauty of the Anti-Atlas mountains adding to its allure.

That's when you have to turn 47 to go on vacation with a group for the first time (yes, “strangers” up to that point). This hiking vacation through the Anti-Atlas began with delayed luggage and a group of 6 completely different people, a driver who looked a lot like Danny Glover and a lively local guide - a storyteller.

A week in the desert with many breathtaking and very interesting hikes, great landscapes, exciting cities, very friendly locals and culinary delights - wonderful conversations among each other.

In the end, we grew into a great group, had a lot of fun and all wanted to stay a little longer. We are still in contact with a few of them. And who knows. Maybe we'll see each other again on a trip. What an experience!
